I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Giveaway: Win a copy of The Awesome Book of Woman in the Color Me Lucky Giveaway Hop!

Welcome to the Color Me Lucky Giveaway Hop hosted by MamatheFox

We are so lucky that we have had so many great women in this world breaking down barriers and inspiring us. Now, their stories have been captured in a wonderful book by Becca Anderson. The book includes women that most of us have heard of like Rosa Parks and Malala Yousafzai. There are also other women like Lotfia ElNadi, not only the first Middle Eastern and African woman to become a pilot but the first woman ever to become a pilot as well as Pauline Cushman who gained the rank of major fighting in the civil war and so many more whose stories are told in this book. Each of their stories is as awe-inspiring as the next. Women like these show that anyone can make a positive difference in the world and that women and their stories are just as important as men and theirs. For more information, see our previous post Tips for Tuesday: The Book of Awesome Women. Enter to win a copy of this engaging book yourself below:
