I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Giveaway: Win a copy of Postcards from Times Square in the Snow-Body Like You Giveaway Hop!

Welcome to the Snow-Body Like You Giveaway Hop hosted by MamatheFox

There's snow-body like you and there's snow place like Times Square. Times Square can arguably be called the beating heart of New York City. Here you can shop or get theater tickets or people watch or even see the New Year's ball drop and more. However, Times Square wasn't always the Times Square we picture today. Now, this iconic venue's history has been recounted in a delightful postcard book. This book covers the period of time from 1904 through 2000 in a series of historic postcards. The book is more than just postcards, however. It also contains plenty of  fascinating information. All in all, it is a very comprehensive look at this world famous location. For more information about the book,  see our previous post Tips for Tuesday - Books: Postcards from Times Square.  To win a copy of this engaging book, enter below:

  2. I'd like to go to the FDR presidential library and museum in New York. My parents took us to several presidential libraries, on vacations when we were growing up. As children we didn't really understand the importance of all the history we were seeing and experiencing. Now as an adult, I am very glad they took us to visit these :)
