I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Where-To-Go Wednesday - Star Wars Light Saber Exhibit at Ripley's New York

What: Star Wars Light Saber Exhibit

Where: Ripley's New York
             234 W 42nd St.
             New York, NY

Who: All ages

Mom - The newest exhibit at Ripley's Times Square is not very big but it is one that any fans of the Star Wars franchise will love. On display is Luke Skywalker's original light saber from the movies. Carrie Fisher's chair from the Stars Wars set is also on display as well as a Darth Vader picture made completely out of staples. The Darth Vader picture has been at the museum for quite a while, but it has been moved to the new exhibit. If you are not really a Star Wars fan, it is not really worth a trip to the museum just for this exhibit. However, there are so many other unique and interesting items on display throughout the museum that there is sure to be something that will interest you too. For more about Ripley's Times Square's other newest exhibit, see our previous post Where-To-Go Wednesday: Ripley's New York: The Relic. For more about Ripley's New York in general, see our previous post Where-To-Go Wednesday: Ripley's New York (although please note that the New Year's Eve ball pictured in the post is no longer on display at the museum). For even more, visit the Ripley's New York web-site at https://ripleysnewyork.com/.

And that's our view. Tune in tomorrow for Theater Thursday.
