I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Tips for Tuesday - Movies: Beethoven's 2nd and 1 Night

We may have been given one or more of the below mentioned movies free for review purposes. Any and all opinions expressed here are our own.  This post may also contain affiliate links. If you click on a link and make a purchase, we may be compensated.
Me - Today I am recommending Beethoven's 2nd. This is my favorite of the three Beethoven movies. In this movie, Beethoven finds a girl dog, and they have puppies. The puppies were so cute. It is a funny movie to watch with your family. I really enjoyed watching Beethoven's 2nd. People who like puppies and dogs will love this movie.
Mom - Today I am recommending 1 Night. 1 Night is an entertaining film  about two couples over the course of one night in a hotel. Drew and Elizabeth are a married thirtysomething couple at a crisis in their relationship. They are trying to decide whether they should stay together or not. Andy and Bea are teenagers. When Bea is dumped by her boyfriend on prom night, Andy her childhood friend who has always had a crush on her steps in to attempt to rescue her night. If you are interested in films with a lot of bells and whistles, you might not like this movie. However, if you like a quiet little film that is truly romantic and gives you the opportunity to really delve into the relationships between two couples, you will love this film. The movie is sweet and the relationships are touching especially that of the younger couple. Although the couples seem to pass through each other's stories in arbitrary ways their lives are much more interconnected than it may seem, but to reveal any more here would ruin the surprise ending. For more about 1 Night go to  http://www.imdb.com/title/tt4126694/. We will be having a giveaway of this movie coming up soon.

And that's our view. Tune in tomorrow for Where-To-Go Wednesday.

  1. Aww, I remember watching "Beethoven"! I don't think I've seen the "2nd," though. Thanks for reminding me of this sweet movie; I might revisit it!
I hadn't heard of "1 Night." It looks SO fantastic, I and imagine that it's one of those lovely films that is just perfect for savoring. I hope to see it soon! (Also, I think that the backdrop on the cover image [the dark teal] is so gorgeous.)
