Funtivity Friday - Valentine's Limericks

Here are some fun family friendly limerick's we made up for Valentine's Day.

There once was a young girl in school

upon seeing a certain boy she would drool.

He played with her heart

til he broke it apart.

Alas, the poor girl. What a fool!

There once a girl named Lily.

She wanted to kiss a boy, Billy.

But he had too much hair.

and he spent all his time on its care.

So instead she kissed a goat named, Tilly.

There was once a certain young miss

who was waiting for her very first kiss.

Then, one day by the creek

she got a peck on the cheek.

And, she said "There must be more to it than this!"

There once was a frog

who sat on a log

one day a girl sat with him.
She said her name was Kim.

They fell in love and started a blog.

There once was a happy young lad

who was known as quite a cad

until finally one day

the girls learned to stay away. 

And now his life is quite sad.

There once was a boy

His name was Troy

He liked a girl named Mary.

but Mary thought he was scary.

So he moved on and fell in love with a girl named Joy.

There once was an eager young man

who said "I think I can

find myself a wife

and make a good life."

But every girl he wanted to date ran.

Once upon a time

there was a boy  who ate a lime.

He instantly fell in love.

He felt like a beautiful dove. 

But he couldn't buy more with just a dime.

There was a young girl with a crush

when she saw him her heart would rush.

And when he was not there

she'd talk about him everywhere

And no one could get her to shush.

There once was a cat

who was in love with a bat.

But the bat was married

and had a baby who he carried

So instead the cat fell in love with a hat.

There once was a pretty young thing 

who wanted some serious bling.

But her true love was poor.

He could not afford more

than one tiny wedding ring.

There once was a boy named Harry,

He loved his pet fish Larry.

But Larry did not feel the same.

He thought that the boy was lame

So instead Harry got a fluffy pet he could carry.

There once was a young boy named Nate

who was looking for a date.

He found a young girl

and they gave it a whirl.

So now he has the perfect mate.

There once was a girl named Lake. 

She really loved to bake,

She baked lots of treats

but she couldn't bake meats

So all she had for dinner was cake.
