Not every one can be a superhero like Wonder Woman. Not everyone has bullet stopping bracelets and a golden lasso. Some of us are mere mortals just trying to get by like the characters in the new Off Broadway musical, PILLARS OF NEW YORK. PILLARS OF NEW YORK is the story of four couples’ personal struggles with the events surrounding the 9-11 tragedy. As the mental and physical recovery for the couples plays out, therapist and author Jake Kelly evaluates his own personal loss and mortality through the exploration of their stories. These stories are the fabric of the true Pillars of New York; the pillars who comprise the tapestry of the human condition through tragedy and triumph. See photos from the production below.
The show opened at St. Luke's Theatre located 308 W. 46th St., New York, New York on July 6 and will run through September 7, 2016. Tickets cost between $39 and $99 and can be purchased through Telecharge at https://www.telecharge.com/Off-Broadway/Pillars-of-New-York/Overview.
