I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Where-To-Go Wednesday - Mamma Mia

What: Mamma Mia

Where: Broadhurst Theatre
             235 W. 45th Street

Who: 10 and up

Our view: Whether you love ABBA music or not, Mamma Mia is still an enjoyable show. It is not just one of those musicals where basically people just stand around  and sing and dance to the musical catalog of some singer or musical group. There is an actual story line to Mamma Mia. While it may not be the most brilliant story line or at times the most plausible, it is entertaining. It is a very upbeat show filled with good music. While even younger children, would probably enjoy the lively music, they would not understand the nuances of the plot. If just sitting and listening to the music is enough for them, it might be okay to take them to the show. Otherwise, I would leave them at home. And that's our view. Tune in tomorrow for another Talking Topic.
