I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Funny Friday - Mommy, are you listening?

Me -

I was talking to Mom and she wasn't paying attention so I said "Did you know Pippi got married?"
(Pippi is our cat)

"Did she really?" my mom replied completely seriously.

Mom -

When I was younger and involved in the community theater, I was sitting in the audience of the theater with a friend of ours young daughter. Her mother was in the show that was appearing on the stage at that moment. All of the sudden the daughter turned to me and said "I have to go ask Mommy something." She got up out of her seat, and I froze thinking she was going to get up on stage in the middle of the show. Instead, she knelt down in the middle of the center aisle, and silently mouthed some words. Then, she turned back to me and said "Mommy said okay." She sat back down in her seat and was fine for the rest of the show.
