I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Theater Thursday: Out of Order

We were given complimentary tickets to Out of Order for review purposes. Any and all opinions expressed here are our own.

Where: The East Village Basement
             321 E. 9th St.
             New York, NY

If you are looking for a uniquely creative evening (or afternoon) of theater, you may enjoy Carl Holder's Out of Order. This show is a weird but highly entertaining blend of improv comedy, game show, and true confessional.  Every performance is completely different. What happens and when is randomly determined by the order in which index cards are selected from a bowl. The performer can be a little in your face at times at this tiny theater, and there may be some audience participation, but if those things don't bother you, you will definitely want to check out this one-of-a-kind show.

And that's our view. For more about Out of Order or to purchase tickets, visit www.outofordertheshow.com.

Tune in Saturday for Still More Theater Saturday.
