I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Theater Thursday - Leader of the Pack

We were given complimentary tickets to Leader of the Pack for review purposes. Any and all opinions expressed here are our own.

What: Leader of the Pack

Where: Bucks County Playhouse
             70 S. Main St.
             New Hope, PA

Who: Recommended for Ages 15 and Up

When: Through July 20, 2025

The musical, Leader of the Pack, is the story of singer-songwriter Ellie Greenwich. As far as biographical memoirs go, this one only skims the surface of its subject's life and doesn't really dig too deeply. It's more of a fun, vibey show, full of catchy nostalgic songs from Greenwich's catalogue like "Doo Wah Diddy Diddy", "Chapel of Love", and "River Deep Mountain High",  which is fine unless you are interested in something with more substance. However, there's nothing wrong with leaning into the fun once in a while. If you're interested in that, you can't go wrong with this highly energetic production brimming with spirited, lively performances led by the vivacious Kyra Kennedy in the title role.
