I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Theater Thursday - David and Katie Get Re-Married

We were given complimentary tickets to David and Katie Get Re-Married for review purposes. Any and all opinions expressed here are our own.

What: David and Katie Get Re-Married

Where: Asylum NYC
             307 W. 26th St.
             New York. NY

Who: Recommended for Ages 17 and Up

When: Thursdays Through August 22, 2024

David and Katie Get Re-Married is a raucous musical celebration full of vulgarity and sexual innuendo. Accordingly, it is completely unsuitable for young children.  Even though the songs are not the kind you are probably going to want to go around singing in mixed company that doesn't make them or the show any less fun although they can both be a bit much at times.

The performers make the love between these two characters so believable. Katie Hartman is a complete badass in the role of Katie. David Karl's, David is a big goofy boisterous lug. These two are not like any demur bridal couple you've ever seen before, and their wedding isn't like any you've ever been to before either. You definitely have to experience it for yourself to believe it, and if you do, you may even get to taste a very real piece of cake.

And that's our view. For more about David and Katie Get Re-Married or to purchase tickets, visit www.davidandkatiegetremarried.com.
