I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Tips for Tuesday - Books: Tales of Willow Valley & Misc: StickTogether

We may have been given a complimentary copy of one or more of the books and/or other products mentioned below for review purposes. Any and all opinions expressed here are our own.

Books: Tales of Willow Valley

Today we are recommending Tales of Willow Valley by Linda Weaver Clarke. This book is a fine addition to the delightful  Willow Valley historical romance series. Like the most recent book in the series, this one consists of several short stories. However, unlike that book where the stories were all based around holidays, there is no unifying theme here except that all of the stories are full of  the adorable couples and the sweet romance that the series is known for. Stories in the book include one about childhood friends reunited to carry out a dangerous but important mission and a Cyrano De Bergerac related tale.  Each story is based on an incident that actually happened to a relative of the author, and at the end of each chapter, the author explains the inspiration behind the story and provides some historical background for the events in the story.  All in all, it is a fascinating and fun read.

Misc.: Stick Together

Today we are recommending StickTogether. StickTogether is like a giant paint by number picture without the mess. It uses stickers instead of paint and letters instead of numbers making it super easy for anyone who knows all their letters and can differentiate color to participate in.  Thus, it is a great activity for the whole family. The large size of the picture makes it easy for more than one person to work on it at the same time which only adds to its suitability as a great family and/or other group activity. If you are looking for something new and different to do, StickTogether is a fun choice. For more information about StickTogether or to place an order, visit https://letsticktogether.com/

And that's our view. Tune in tomorrow for Where-To-Go Wednesday.
