I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Tips for Tuesday - Books: Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe & Zen Kittens

We may have been given complimentary copies of one or more of the books and/or other products mentioned below for review purposes. Any and all opinions expressed here are our own.

Books: Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe and Zen Kittens

Today we are recommending Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe by Benjamin Alire Saenz. This is one of the most gorgeously written books ever. It's the story of two boys who meet by chance and develop a relationship that changes both of their lives forever. The writing is extremely lyrical but in a way that's still easily readable so that anybody can enjoy it. The characters feel very real and the relationship between the two boys is realistic, heartwrenching, and beautiful. Even though it's classified as a Young Adult novel, it's is a story that anybody can get something out of. We would recommend this book to absolutely everybody.

Today we are recommending Zen Kittens. This is another book of wise words to live by full of adorable animal pictures. This time, however, the book is packed with pictures of cute kittens instead of precious puppies,. Reading this book is not going to take away all the problems of the world, but it may just help you relax and put a smile on your face for a little while.

And that's our view. Due to circumstances beyond our control Where-To-Go Wednesday will be closed tomorrow. Tune in Thursday for this week's Theater Thursday.
