I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Tips for Tuesday - Books: Shakespeare's Cat & Misc: Scen-Ties

We may have been complimentary copies of any books and/or other products listed below for review purposes. Any and all opinions expressed here are our own.

Books: Shakespeare's Cats

Today we are recommending Shakespeare's Cats. Shakespeare's cats is a comprehensive collection of all of the sonnets written by William Shakespeare. Each page consists of one sonnet, an explanation of the sonnet, a fun fact, and an adorable cat picture. Whether you just really love old fashioned poetry, you are interested in learning interesting facts about William Shakespeare, theater during Shakespeare's time and/or or life in general during Shakespeare's time; or you just want to stare at cute animal pictures, this book is a great choice.

Misc.: Scen-Ties

Today we are recommending Scen-Ties. Scen-Ties are bright colored and great smelling new hair accessories. They come in a variety of different styles including headbands, scrunchies, and hair ties as well as a variety of scents including cotton candy, brownie sundae, and strawberry. They operate on the same principle as scratch and sniff stickers but instead of scratching and sniffing, you stretch the tag attached to the accessory (or in the case of scrunchies the scrunch itself ) to release the scent. Scen-Ties are functional and fun. Just be warned they smell so good they might even make you hungry.

And that's our view. Tune in tomorrow for Where-To-Go Wednesday.
