I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Theater Thursday - Nick Cordero Memorial Tribute

What: Nick Cordero Memorial Tribute

Where: Broadway on Demand

Who: Tweens and Up

This Thanksgiving even if you are unable to spend the holiday with your family, if you are surviving and your loved ones are too, you are lucky. Millions of people have not been so lucky, Nick Cordero was one of them. A lot of people known him from his wife, Amanda Kloots, posts on social media while he was in the hospital fighting Covid, a battle he ultimately lost, but he was much more than that. He was a husband to Amanda, a father to Elvis, and a talented actor, singer and songwriter who was loved by many people.

On or about June 9, Nick's friends, family, and people whom he had worked with and whose lives he had touched came together virtually to celebrate his life. They talked about their memories of him, sang his songs, and more. There were numerous pictures and video clips of Nick in his various stage roles in The Toxic Avenger, Bullets Over Broadway. A Bronx Tale, Waitress, and Rock of Ages. There were numerous pictures and videos of Nick in his personal life even including some from his wedding.  If you didn't know Nick at all or even if you only know him through his roles, if you watch this video you will feel like you knew him as a friend,  And, you will know that the world lost a really bright light when he died.

In fact, the world has lost many bright lights. That is why we all have to do our part to contain this dreadful disease and stop it from spreading not only for ourselves and our loved ones but in memory of Nick and all the others.

And that's our view. The Nick Cordero Memorial Tribute will be available on Broadway on Demand through December 31, 2020. You must have a membership to Broadway on Demand to watch. However, the membership is free and the video is free to watch as well. For more information or to watch, go to https://www.broadwayondemand.com/series/aKBEcTX7pwGQ-nick-cordero-memorial-tribute

Have as Happy a Thanksgiving as possible. Tune in Sunday for this week's Sunday Scoop.
