I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Giveaway: Win a copy of Animal Kind in the Lucky Leaf Giveaway Hop!

Welcome to the Lucky Leaf Giveaway Hop hosted by MamatheFox

The ways things have been going in the world lately, we really need to count our blessings and be grateful for the good things. One thing that makes us lucky is the love of our animal companions. One of the most pure things in life is the love of an animal. Animal Kind by Emma Lock is a book that examines this special bond through the exploration of several true stories about the relationships between humans and their animals. Her own story is included in the book as well. This is not just about dogs and cats either there is also a bird, a tortoise and more. In fact, Lock's own pet is a ferret.  Each chapter involves a different animal. For more about this touching book see our previous post Tips for Tuesday - Books: Animal Kind.
