We like to take long walks. It is our favorite way to get exercise. However, walking can also be boring. So here are some fun ways we recommend to pass time while walking.
2) Have a light snack or drink water - You don't want to eat too much while you walk because that would defeat the purpose of the exercise, and also, it is harder to walk with a full stomach. However, if you are going to be out a really long time you might want to take something to eat, and no matter how long you are walking for you will definitely want to take water.
3) Talk - When you are walking together that is a really good time to have fun discussions or even serious ones if you are in an area where there aren't a lot of other people around.
4) Observe - Sometimes, it is fun just to pay attention and see what's around you.
5) Make up Stories - You can make up stories in your own head as you walk or you can make up a story together by taking turns adding words or details.
6) Listen to music - If you are alone or in a more populated area, you can listen to music on your phone or mp3 with earbuds. If you are in a more isolated area, you can listen to music out loud with your walking companions.
7) Sing Songs - If you are in an area where you are not likely to bother people, you can sing songs while you walk.
