I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Giveaway: Win a copy of Smoke and Water in the June Vibes Giveaway Hop!

Welcome to the June Vibe Hop Giveaway Hop hosted by MamatheFox

It's Pride Month and even though pride month is devoted to a particular kind of acceptance, we can certainly use a lot more acceptance of every kind today. The current crisis has brought out the best in many people and united them more than ever before, but unfortunately not everyone. We can only hope that in this Pride Month acceptance  of every kind increases and intolerance of any kind fades away. In keeping with that theme, for this giveaway, we are giving away a copy of Smoke and Water by Tai Le Grice, This book is the love story of Eike and Damon. The two young men meet when Eike enrolls in the school Damon attends, and the becomes teammates on the swim team. Both of them are hiding dark secrets, but just maybe they can help to heal each other. For more information about this book see our previous post Tips for Tuesday - Books: Smoke and Water.
