What: Dracula A Comedy of Terrors
Where: The Broadway Podcast Network broadwaypodcastnetwork.com/podcast/dracula-a-comedy-of-terrors
Mom's view: Even if you are not ordinarily a fan of vampire stories or Dracula in particular, you still may get a kick of out of this unique version of the story. This take on the familiar tale seeks more to amuse than to terrorize, and it does a good job of doing so. This version is perfect for the state of the world today in which there is so much out there to scare us already and what we all really need is a little more laughter and lightness. The voice cast in this production is stellar. It is made up of Broadway favorites including Christopher Sieber, Ashley Park and Annaleigh Ashford and more as well as TV favorite, John Stamos. The whole podcast is not very time consuming as it only consists of four (4) episodes that are all under thirty (30) minutes long. It all seems to go by even quicker, however, and on the whole it's quite an amusing way to spend a little bit of time.
And that's Mom's view.
