I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Tips for Tuesday - Books: Back From the Future & Dilemma

We may have been given complimentary copies of one or more of the books and/or other products mentioned below for review purposes. Any and all opinions expressed are our own.

Books: Back From the Future and The Dilemma

Mom - Today I am recommending two books:

The first book I am recommending is Back From the Future by Brad Gilmore. This book is a must have for any fan of the Back to the Future trilogy. It is is full of fun and fascinating facts about the movies. There are chapters regarding the casting of the original movie, Back to the Future the Ride, Future Day and more. Reading this delightfully diverting book is almost as entertaining as watching the movies. With only ten short chapters, this book will go by so quickly you'll wish there was a sequel.

The second book I am recommending is The Dilemma by B.A. Paris. It's Livia's 40th birthday and to make up for the big wedding she never had, she is throwing herself a huge birthday bash. However, in the midst of it all, she and her husband Adam are each desperately trying to keep devastating secrets from each other about their daughter. Even though keeping important secrets from one's spouse is probably not the best course of action, Livia and Adam's love for each other clearly shines through in their actions. You can't help rooting for them. This book is completely engrossing and absolutely heart-wrenching.

And that's Mom's view. Tune in tomorrow for What-To-Do Wednesday.
