I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Giveaway: Win a copy of For What He Could Become in the Rain, Rain, Go Away Giveaway Hop!

Welcome to The Rain Rain Go Away Giveaway Hop
hosted by The Kids Did It and The Mommy Island

Into each life a little rain must fall or so they say. That is certainly true of Bill Williams, the hero of James A. Misko's For What He Could Become. In fact, a lot of rain falls in Bill's life. After a bear hunt goes wrong, he leaves home and goes on a series of adventure  which including working on a riverboat, and building a highway and finally ends up fighting  in World War II. When he finally makes it home from the war, the girl he loves is married to his brother so he leaves home again. At this point his life is pretty much a thunderstorm as everything falls apart and he descends into alcoholism and homelessness. However, after the rain, the sun eventually always shines again, and it does for Bill too as an unlikely series of events give him the chance  to hopefully makes his life right again.

    1. Yes, I can imagine it is hard to keep up with a two year old. My girls are teenagers now, but I remember those days. Thanks for visiting Says Me Says Mom and your comment.
