I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Ten (Plus) Cartoons We Love or Loved

Me - Cartoons, we love or loved

1- Looney Tunes - The best cartoon ever! How can you not love classic characters like Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Tweety Bird, and the Road Runner?

2 - Tom and Jerry - It is so funny the way Jerry the little mouse is always besting Tom the big cat.

3- The Flintstones - It is fun to imagine what life would have been like if caveman were more like us.

4- Sabrina the Teenage Witch - The original series not the later ones. I like magic and it is fun to see what it would be like to be a teenager and have magic. The later Sabrina cartoons were very stupid but I did like the live series with Melissa Joan Hart

5.The Smurfs - The original movie, is better than the TV series but the sequels are not although the cartoon is kind of fun too.

Mom - Here are five more cartoons we love or loved

6. Madeline-  Although the TV series was not on very long and I never really watched it when it was, this is one of the few series my daughters and I all could watch over and over again. The stories are cute, the songs are fun and although it is hard to believe anyone could be quite as good-hearted as the character of Madeline, she makes a good role model.

7.Clifford/Clifford's Puppy Days -  We loved the Clifford books, and we loved the Clifford TV series. The original Clifford series in particular was one of my older daughter's early favorite shows. This was another show where kids could learn a lot of good lessons in a fun way.

8. The Jetsons - It was fun to think about what live would be like in the future and now it is fun to think about how close live has or hasn't come to what live was like in the Jetsons.

9. Phineas and Ferb - While there may be other cartoons that feature as many or more fun cultural references as Phineas and Ferb, this one unlike those others is suitable for kids and adults. This is a show that families can enjoy watching together.

10, Josie and the Pussycats, Scooby Doo, and Underdog - These shows I watched and loved as a kid. I am not really sure why. I think part of the attraction was their  great theme songs which stick in my head even today.

What cartoons did you or do you love?

Tune in tomorrow for Tips for Tuesday.

Stay home, stay safe, stay healthy!
