I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Giveaway: Win A Copy of The Story Behind in the School Savvy Giveaway Hop!

Welcome to the School Savvy Giveaway Hop hosted by MamatheFox

Even when we are not in school,we can still learn and we may even retain what we learn easier if we  are learning about things that really interest us. A fun way to learn is by reading books about interesting subjects. The Story Behind is a fascinating book about the history of every day objects. If you want to know about the history behind the smiley face, salt water taffy, bubble wrap, and many other common place things you can find it in this book, which is based on the popular podcast of the same name. If you have a curious nature and you like to know how things came about, you will definitely want to read this book. For more, see our previous post Tips for Tuesday - Books: The Story Behind.
