I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Me - Rock of Ages was a fun show.  It's a jukebox musical featuring all songs from the 80s about a girl named Sherri and a guy named Drew who have to learn how to navigate love while attempting to live out their dreams. The singing and acting were really great. My favorite songs are Here I Go Again and I Want to Know What Love Is. While it wasn't the funniest show ever, there were many humorous moments, and throughout the entire two and a quarter hours of the show there was an infectious energy that you couldn't help but get swept up in. If you're looking for a show that doesn't necessarily have the most profound plot but has a lot of heart and a sweet love story, than this show is for you.*

*The above us a guest post by older sister, Melia.

Mom - Rock of Ages is a show that certainly lives up to the rock part of its name. It is a very loud and energetic musical from start to finish full of popular songs from the 1980s. The plot is not necessarily the most interesting or original. It is basically the story of young couple who meet cute, fall in love quickly, get torn apart, and have to find their way back to each other,.  However, it is easy to get caught up in the  bittersweet story and fun songs. The show is full of scantily clad women and inappropriate subject matter so I definitely would not recommend it for young children. Over all , if you enjoy  a boisterious rock musical and/or have a particular fondness for music of the 1980s, you will love it.
