I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Tips for Tuesday - Book: Badass Women Give the Best Advice & Podcast: Loveville High

We may have been given one or more of the books or other products and/or access to any movies, TV shows or podcasts mentioned below for free for review purpsoes. Any and all opinions expressed here are our own.

Books: Badass Women Give the Best Advice

Mom - Today I am recommending Badass Women Give the Best Advice. This is an amusing and entertaining book full of quotes from famous women regarding life, love and relationships. It also contains information about selected famous women including Clare Booth Luce, Susan B. Anthony and Amelia Bloomer as well as other related lists and advice regarding power couples, when it's time to break up and more. It is not a book that is likely to interest  most men that much, nor is it appropriate for young girls due to some of the subject matter. It would make a great gift for a woman to give to or pass on to a woman friend, however. Reading it will make you feel like a part of the sisterhood of women.

Podcast - Loveville High - A Prom in Nine Musical Podcasts

Mom - Today I am recommending Loveville High, a 9 episode podcast that tells the fictional story of prom night at Loveville High. It is full of drama including teen pregnancy, secret crushes, and more. Each episode is  a mini musical sung and voiced by the highest calibre of Broadway talent including Hailey Kilgore, a Tony nominee last year for Once on This Island, and Ali Stroker, a Tony nominee this year for Oklahoma! The songs are completely original and unlike anything you've ever heard before. The story is fascinating and fun. The only bad thing about listening to these podcast is that by the time you get to the last one, you will be so involved in the story that you will wish it could go on, and you didn't have to leave these quirky characters and their little town.

And that's Mom's view. Tune in tomorrow for Where-To-Go Wednesday
