In honor of back to school time, our prize is meant to promote literacy in young readers by inspring them not only to read but to imagine. We are giving away a magical gift pack for young readers. First we are giving away the book, Harper and the Scarlet Umbrella, by Cerrie Burnell. This is the first book in series of books about a young girl and her magical umbrella. The second book in the series Harper and the Circus of Dreams has already been published although we are not including that book as part of this giveaway. Harper books are the perfect starter chapter books for any young reader. Along with the book, we are also giving away two magical fairy wands. Not every young kid can have a magical umbrella like Harper, but with a magical fairy wand or two any young child can imagine all the magic they want.
