I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Where-To-Go Wednesday - Celebrating 75 Years of Rodgers and Hammerstein

What: Celebrationg 75 Years of Rodgers and Hammerstein

Where: Library of the Performing Arts
             Lincoln Center
             New York, NY

Who: Teens and Up

When: Now through September 25. 2018

M&M - If you love Rodgers and Hammerstein, you might enjoy the current exhibit at the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts which celebrates their legacy. The exhibit contains many photos and posters from their career. It even includes some newspaper Hirschfeld drawings from their shows. If you especially love Carousel and/or Oklahoma, you will really enjoy this exhibits because these shows are covered extensively while other shows like The Sound of Music and South Pacific are barely covered or not covered at all. The exhibit is not very big so it is not necessarily worth a special trip unless you are huge fan of either Rodgers and Hammerstein or Carousel or Oklahoma. However, if you are in the area and you have a little bit of time and you are a theater fan, it is worth a visit.*

*Please note, don't expect pictures or items related to the current production of Carousel as there are not any as part of these exhibit.

And that's our view. Tune in tomorrow for Theater Thursday.
