I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Funtivity Friday - Things To Do When You're Too Full To Move A lot - 2nd Annual Edition

It's the day after Thanksgiving and if you are had a little bit too much (or a lot too much) to eat yesterday and you are not participating in Black Friday shopping, here is our second annual post of some things you can do without moving around a lot.

1) Sing - Have your own little post Thanksgiving singalong right from the comfort of your couch.

2) Make crazy faces - Have a contest to see who can make the craziest face.

3) Tell each other whatt you want for the holidays - What a great time to share your holiday wish list!

4) Talk to each other using only gestures - See if you can figure out what each other is saying without talking.

5) Recite poetry - Either recite famous poems or make up your own.

6) Tell stories- Either tell famous stories (or any stories) you remember or make up a new one.

7) Read- Read a book, a magazine or whatever. This is the perfect time to relax and catch up on your reading.

8) Have a movie or TV marathon - Watch a bunch of movies or binge watch your favorite show.

What do you like to do the day after Thanksgiving?

Enjoy!

Tune in Sunday for this week's Sunday Scoop.

  1. I worked on Friday so others could do their Black Friday shopping. It would have been a great day for sitting around watching a Netflix run of a series.
