What: Martial Artists and Acrobats of China
Where: State Theatre New Jersey
15 Livingston Ave.
New Brunswick, NJ
When: Saturday November 18, 2017
Me - The Martial Artists and Acrobats of China was a very interesting show. There were acrobats doing different types of elaborate routines, such as, juggling or using ropes to do tricks. The show was really fun to watch. It was a little bit slow at time, but it was really enjoyable. It was a little long for very little kids but older kids would probably enjoy it. If you are into gymnastic and acrobatic routines than this is the show for you.*

Mom- We recently had the opportunity to see Martial Artists and Acrobats of China at the State Theatre New Jersey. The show was really more of a circus than a martial arts show. The show was full of talented artists, magicians and martial artists performing amazing feats. Among them were a woman who could juggle an umbrella with her feet, a contortionists duo, and a group of men who do a juggling act with straw hats. Most if not all of these amazing performers were previously members of some of the best known circuses in the world including Ringling Brothers Barnum and Bailey, Cirque du Soleil, and the Big Apple Circus. This show which has no plot or dialogue of any kind is good for all ages although at a running time of just about 2 hours it may be a little long for the very youngest children. However, the show is filled with constant action which keeps you on the edge of your seat throughout the performance. There are also colorful costumes to look at and pretty music to listen to throughout the show. The music can get a bit repetitive at times, however. Overall, the show is fascinating and definitely worth seeing.
