Me- Interstellar Cinderella was an updated version of Cinderella. It took place in 3017. Cinderella was good at repair things. The show was good. The show was cute and fun. I admired the character of Cinderella. She was a good role model because she didn't necessarily need a prince to save her. The songs were good. All the songs were by Laurie Berkner. They were the kind of songs you would like to listen to again. The acting was good. The singing was good too. My favorite part of this show was that it put a unique spin on a classic tale. Even though boys don't always like Cinderella, both boys and girls would like this version of the story.
Mom - Interstellar Cinderella is a different take on the familiar tale of Cinderella. This Cinderella is no poor maiden waiting to be rescued by a prince. She has a talent and ambitions of her own. The story is based on a book of the same name by Deborah Underwood with songs by beloved children's performer Laurie Berkner. The story has enough elements of the original story to be familiar but enough differences to make it unique. The songs are fun and even if you don't remember them when you leave the theater, they are the kind of songs that you wouldn't mind hearing again as is usually the case with Laurie Berkner songs. This modern Cinderella is a much better role model for girls. Not only is she not sitting around waiting for her prince to come, she also excels in an area that might stereotypically be considered male. She has a talent for repairing things, and she aspires to fix fancy rockets. Accordingly, not only is she a good role model for girls, she is a character who should appeal to boys as well. Although the story is perfect for young children, it is definitely a show that can be enjoyed by all ages. It will be playing at the Beckett Theatre at Theater Row through December 17.

We were given free tickets to White Christmas for review purposes. Any and all opinions expressed are our own.
What: White Christmas
Where: Kelsey Theatre
1200 Old Trenton Rd.
West Windsor, NJ
Who: All ages
When: Friday, Saturday, Sunday through November 26
Me - White Christmas was a show about people who had been in a war putting on show to raise money to save their old commander's hotel. The show was likable. I liked the music. Some of the songs were familiar. Some were also in the show Holiday Inn which I saw last year. I especially liked White Christmas and Blue Skies. The singing was pleasant. The acting was nice. The dancing was good. The story was interesting. The show was very similar to Holiday Inn. People who like old fashioned holiday musicals would enjoy the show.
Mom - White Christmas is a nice old fashioned musical. It is based on the 1954 movie of the same name. The story is not the most original. It is another one of those let's put on a show in the barn and save the farm musicals although in this case the farm is an inn in Vermont. There is a little bit more to the story than that although all of it is pretty cliched. However, it is still enjoyable. It has entertaining characters, nice songs, and fun dances. It has some extremely familiar songs including White Christmas and Blue Skies and some other nice songs that might not be as familiar including Love and the Weather and Snow. All in all, it is the a fun show for the whole family.
And that's our view. Happy Thanksgiving! Tune in tomorrow for Funtivity Friday
