I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Although there is no such thing as the mythical supermom, some mom's just seem to have it more together then other moms. Movers, Shakers, Mommies and Makers: Success Stories from Mompreneurs is a book about some of those moms. The moms in this book are not only moms but they are running creative businesses. The businesses are based on ideas they had for products for children.  They saw a need and they came up with a product to fulfill that need. Courtney Grey came up with the idea of fun teepees for kids. Korie Conant came up with the idea of more stylish diaper bags. These are just a couple of the amazing women featured in this book. For more information or to find out how to purchase a copy of this fascinating book, click here. A portion of each purchase goes to Girls Inc. to help the next generation of movers and shakers.
