I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

The Beast and Up to You

We were given free tickets for a ride on The Beast for review purposes. Any and all opinions expressed here are our own based on our experience.

Me - The Beast, wow! The Beast was so much fun. It's a Circle Line speedboat. It is a super fast boat ride. It feels like a roller coaster in the water. As you ride along, the water sometimes hits you in the face. The speed of the boat kicks up a lot of wind too. I was wearing my hair down, and as we rode around, my hair was flying out behind me. I couldn't believe that person who works on the boat was actually able to stand up as we sped through the water. All the passsengers on the boat have to sit down and wear seat belts throughout the ride. As we rode, we were even able to get really close to the Statue of Liberty.  A ride in The Beast is a fun thing to do on day in New York.*

Me - Up to You was a good show. It was about kids running for student council president. There was a lot of bullying in the school. The bullying was called Pirate Pranks. Wendy wanted to stop Pirate Pranks. Vanessa wanted to keep the Pirate Pranks and use them to get what she wanted. The show had a good message. It showed that bullying is not okay and people should be nice to each other. I liked some of the characters in the show. I didn't like others There were a bunch of little kids who were spying on Vanessa. I liked them. I also liked Wendy because she was nice. I didn't like Vanessa because she was mean. The songs were good, but I don't remember them. It was not my favorite show I ever saw at TADA, but it is one of my favorite's. It is a good show for kids because they can learn that bullying is not good.**
