I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

City of Angels and The Woodsman

Me - City of Angels was a good show. The songs were good. Some of the songs were funny. There was this one funny part when one guy said to the other guy "Nobody gets a hole in one their first time at bat." I liked most of the songs. Some of my favorite swere "What You Don't Know About Women" "You Can Always Count on Me", "You're Nothing Without Me", and "I'm Nothing Without You". I liked the plot of the show. It was interesting that part of it was really happening and part of it was a movie that they were going to make. I liked the way the real life parts were in color and the movie parts were in black and white. It was interesting that everybody except for the two main guys played different parts in the real life part of the story and the movie part of the story. That was also a little confusing. It was confusing trying to keep up with who was playing who when. The acting and singing was really good.  It was a really good show, and you should see it while it's still open.
********************************************************************************************************
Me - The Woodsman was a very unique show. It was the story of the Tin Man in The Wizard of Oz. It took place before The Wizard of Oz. It is partly a love story.  It ended when he turned to tin and Dorothy came. There were actors in the story but the witch and the Tin Man after he turned into the Tin Man were puppets. The Tin Man was cool and big. I didn't like the witch puppet. It wasn't scary to me, but it might have been scary to little kids.  There was hardly any singing and hardly any talking in the show. There were a lot of sound effects. Also, there was a violinist playing who was on the stage the whole time. I liked that they let you take pictures before and after the show although they didn't during the show. The set was very extensive. It wasn't really big, but the whole theater was part of it. The set made it look  like the whole theater was the forest of Oz. There were trees and branches all over. Even on the wall  and the ceiling there was branches. There was lot of pictures on the wall too, and there was even a map of Oz on the wall. If you want to see a show that's really really different, then this is a good show for you.

And that's Aurella's view. Tune in tomorrow for Funtivity Friday.
