I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Tips for Tuesday - Books: Animal Kind

We may have been given a complimentary copy of one or more of any books and/or other products listed below for review purposes. Any and all opinions expressed here are our own.

Books: Animal Kind

Today we are talking about Animal Kind by Emma Lock. This is mostly a book about how our animal companions help us get through the tough times in our lives. Anyone who doubts the validity of therapy animals should definitely read this book. Not all of the stories in the book seem to fit the theme, however, including the most interesting one which is about a man who is able to train tortoises. Each chapter in the book involves a different animal and includes facts about that animal. All in all, the book is very brief, maybe even too brief, especially if you are really interested in learning more about the deep connection between people and their animal companions.

And that's our view. Tune in tomorrow for Where-To-Go Wednesday.
