The Wedding Singer musical, based on the Adam Sandler/Drew Barrymore comedy of the same name, is a tremendously fun musical with a score full of catchy songs that will actually stick in your head. The recent Centenary Stage Company production of the same was a sparkling delight. The show was charmingly led by the adorably sweet Matthew Steen as Robbie and the bubbly and effervescent Megan Schmiedhauser as Julia. The pair were ably backed up by a lively and energetic supporting cast. The show was an absolute joy from start to finish.

Centenary Stage Company's next show will be the Maltby and Shire musical revue, Closer Than Ever, beginning performances in the Kutz Theatre at the Lackland Performing Arts Center on July 30.
