I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Theater Thursday - Marjorie Prime

We received complimentary tickets to Marjorie Prime for review purposes. Any and all opinions expressed here are our own.

What: Marjorie Prime

Where: Hayes Theatre
              240 W. 44th St.
              New York, NY

Who: Recommended for Ages 13 and Up Due to Mature Themes

When: Through February 15, 2025

Marjorie Prime is a very timely show about artificial intelligence. It imagines a future world where one can obtain an AI replica of their loved one after their loved one's death. It raises the question of whether you are actually reliving your life with your loved one or just remembering it if the AI replica is like a blank slate and you have to fill it with memories before it can interact with you as if it were your late loved one. The show is extremely thoughtful and emotional. It is further elevated by the excellence of its stellar cast consisiting of June Squibb, Cynthia Nixon. Danny Burstein and Christopher Lowell. Each of the former three has previously been nominated for and/or won numerous awards throughout their careers.

And that's our view. For more about Marjorie Prime or to purchase tickets, visit 2st.com/shows/marjorie-prime.
