I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Having three times won Edinburgh Fringe First awards, Xhloe and Natasha can be considered favorites of the festival. Their work is always truly unique. Whether you enjoy it or not, you can be sure it will be unlike anything you've ever seen before. What If They Ate the Baby? Their latest production, currently running at the SoHo Playhouse, is typical of their work.

The show is ostensibly about two housewives hell-bent on one-upping each other, while at the same time secretly in love with each other. However, there is no actual linear plot. In fact, the show doesn't even move consistently forward in time. It may move forward at times, but then it may circle back a bit, and quite often it just breaks off on some kind of tangent in a seemingly haphazard manner. There are lots of flashing strobe lights and plenty of unexplained dance breaks.

It's all rather absurd. This is a show for those who enjoy performance art and don't need everything to make sense all the time. However, those who do prefer their entertainment to make sense will likely be confused and not appreciate this show.

And that's our view. For more about What If They Ate the Baby? or to purchase tickets, visit www.sohoplayhouse.com/see-a-show/what-if-they-ate-the-baby
