I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

This semi-improvised musical show for kids 3-10 years old puts a wildly comedic twist on the traditional kids’ show. When the main attraction doesn’t show up, the host enlists the help of the kids (and their grownups) to control everything from plot to props, characters to costumes, and settings to sound in a one-of-a-kind, 45-minute laughfest.

Q.E.D (27-16 23rd Ave, Astoria, Queens)
Saturday August 17 - September 28, 2024 except August 24

2) Table 17

If your ex wanted to meet up again, would you? Previously engaged, Jada and Dallas reunite for dinner to hash out the good, the bad, and the ugly from their romantic past. Despite the intrusion of sassy waiters, complicated memories, and their best efforts to keep things casual, the estranged couple find themselves cornered by the truth.  From playwright Douglas Lyons (Chicken & Biscuits) and director Zhailon Levingston (Cats: The Jellicle Ball), this world premiere play is a hilarious and sweet open letter to love found, lost, and possibly reignited.

Tempers and tensions boil over at a cherished Long Island vacation home that becomes the focal point of an intense family drama.
