What: Friends Virtual Tour
Where: On Location Tours
Who: All ages
Even if you have visited The Friends Experience, see our previous post Where-To-Go Wednesday: The Friends Experience, for more) , you won't want to miss out on The Friends Virtual Tour especially if you are a superfan of the TV show and/or if you are unable to get to The Friends Experience. The two events are like companion pieces to each other. While the Friends Experience is mostly about interiors and fake locations that were made up on Hollywood sets, The Friends Virtual Tour is all about actual locations that were mentioned by name in the series like Bloomingdales and The Cafe Des Artistes and/or were the inspiration for locations in the series like the Museum of Natural History and the Pulitzer Fountain. The tour visits every New York location you can think of that you'd want to visit as well as some you may not even remember from the show, and there is plenty of reminiscing about the episodes that took place in each location.
There is much more to the tour than just looking at buildings and remembering various episodes of the show. It is also jam-packed with loads of fun trivia and fascinating facts. For one thing, alternate actors that were considered for every role in the series are revealed. There is even a theme song karaoke sing-along. Even if you are not a super fan, but you are at all a fan of Friends, this is another one you are definitely not going to want to miss!
And that's our view.
