The Passaic County Arts Center currently has three exhibits running. The first and the most likely to appeal to all ages is Sense and Sensibility created by artists Poramit Thantapalit. The art in this exhibit is quite amazing. It is made up entirely of found objects. Pieces of plastic bottles, pieces of cloth, paper, cardboard, and more have been repurposed into incredible works of art. Most of the artwork in this exhibit is pretty abstract. However, a few of the pieces actually resemble something quite specific including flowers, a wolf's face, and two dresses. All of the artwork in this exhibit is available for purchase. It is quite expensive to purchase though.
The second exhibit is by artist, Anna Carina Sinocchi. It is called The Infinite Arch and Line and plays around with that form. This exhibit mostly consists of layered pictures All of the artwork in this exhibit is also available for purchase but is also quite expensive.
The third exhibit is called New Moon. It is by a local artist named Joseph Coco. It consists of a series of beautiful colorful paintings.
All three exhibits will remain open through May 9, 2021. There is no fee to visit The Passaic County Arts Center. Reservations are required. Mask-wearing and social distancing are also required.
