I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Where-To-Go Wednesday - PaleyLand

What: PaleyLand

Where: The Paley Center for Media
             25 W. 52nd St.
             New York, NY

Who: All Ages

When: Through January 6, 2018

Mom's view: If you in live or are visiting the New York City area, this holiday season with your kids and you are looking for something fun and inexpensive to do PaleyLand is a great choice. PaleyLand is the holiday exhibit at the Paley Center for media. At PaleyLand, you can watch continuous screenings of holiday classic movies. You can engage in fun holiday activities, such as, arts and crafts and games including video games and VR. You can pose for pictures against a holiday background. You can indulge in tasty treat and hot chocolate but only if you get there by 11:00 AM. The best part is that it is all completely free. There are no reservations required and none taken. Just show up  when you are ready to have some holiday fun and stay as long as you like. The exhibit is open daily Wednesday through Sunday 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM except Thursdays when it is open until 8:00 PM. If you are looking to squeeze in a little  extra holiday related fun when the holidays are officially over, PaleyLand is a great place to do it since the exhibit will remain open for the rest of the week after New Year's. It will not close until Sunday January 6 so there is still plenty of time to visit.

And that's Mom's view. Tune in tomorrow for Theater Thursday.
