I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Giveaway: Win a copy of The Field by Ian Dawson in the Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas Giveaway Hop!

Welcome to the Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas Giveaway Hop
hosted by Chatty Patty's Place & Review Wire Media

In this holiday season, we all have a lot to be grateful for.  Ian Dawson is grateful just to be alive. When he was a youth, he was kidnapped by an older boy in his neighborhood. Now, he has written about that experience in his first novel, The Field. The Field shows the best of mankind  as portrayed in the deep bond between best friends, Daniel and Kyle. When Daniel disappears, Kyle will stop at nothing to make sure his best friend returns home safely. It also portrays the worst of mankind in the depraved Austin who has no regard for human life. This is a particularly good book for teenage boys or anyone else who likes fast paced books with nonstop action. For more about this book, see our previous post Tips for Tuesday - Books: The Field.
