I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Tips for Tuesday: Books: Postcards from Manhattan and Games:.Harry Potter Triwizard Maze Game and Harry Potter Magical Beasts Game

We may have been given one or more of the below mentioned products for review purposes. Any and all opinions expressed here are our own.

Books: Postcards from Manhattan

Mom - Today we are recommending Postcards from Manhattan by George J. Lankevich. This book is a charming look at the history of Manhattan through historic postcards. No matter, how much you know about New York's most densely populated borough, you wil definitely learning things from reading  this fascinating book. It is a very unique and delightful way to get a glimpse into the past.

Games: Harry Potter Triwizard Maze Game and Harry Potter Magical Beasts Game

Me & Mom - Today we are recommending two Harry Potter games. The first is Harry Potter Triwizard Maze Game. This game is a lot like Sorry. However, each color represents a character in Harry Potter who competed in the Triwizard tournament in the book, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. The second game is  Harry Potter Magical Beasts Game. In this game, the object is to collect clues. Whoever collects all the matching clues that describe a particular beast first wins the game.  In this game, you can also play as characters in Harry Potter. However, here you can either be Harry, Ginny, Ron or Hermione. This game is a little bit confusing at first, but once you figure out how to play it, it's really easy and fun. Any Harry Potter fan would love either of these two games.

And that's our view. Tune in tomorrow for Where-To-Go Wednesday.
