I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Mom's view: Alex & Me is a sweet inspirational movie about a girl named Reagan. She only wants to play soccer. One day she gets a bump on the head, and begins to think that her poster of Alex Morgan, the champion soccer player, has come to life and is giving her soccer tips. This inspires her to join a soccer team.This engaging story not only provides a good lesson about preserverance and working to attain your goals, it does so in a fun way. In a lot of ways the story might not be the most original in the world, but that doesn't make it any less entertaining. This is definitely a movie you will want your daughter to see, but it can be enjoyed by anyone. This film is available on DVD and digitally. You can also enter to win a copy below:*
