I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Funtivity Friday - Art Projects - Rain Boots

Making a pair of mini rain boots out of cardboard and paper is a fun April art project.

What You Will Need

Two cardboard toilet paper rolls
Colored paper with or without designs
Markers, crayons or pencils
Stickera and other decoratiosn (optional)

What to do

1) Wrap paper around one toilet paper roll.

2) Cut paper to size of roll.

3) Glue paper to roll

4) Decorate roll anyway you want with paper, markers, crayons, pencils, stickers and or any other materials you have available.

5) From paper that matches the  paper you used around the roll, cut out a shape that is rounded at the top and straight at the bottom and large enough that if you glue it to the roll the rounded part will stick out a little in front.

6) Glue cut out piece to the bottom of the roll. If it will not stay, you can use other methods to attach it like tape or glue.

7) Repeats steps 1 through 6 with other toliet paper roll.

Enjoy!

Tune in tomorrow for a Saturday Special.
