I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Saturday Special - Broadway Stars Dinner and Show at iPlay America

What: Broadway Stars Dinner and Show

Where: iPlay America
            110 Schank Road
            Freehold, NJ

When: December 17, 2017

This event has past.

Me & Mom - We recently had the opportunity to attend a Broadways Stars Dinner and Show at iPlay America. The dinner was a buffet, and it was delicious! They served chicken parmigan and steak and some other chicken dish. Dessert wasn't as good. They just served these tiny pieces of cakes that they brought to the tables.

The show was amazing! The performers were really talented. They all had beautiful voices. For more about the performers who appeared in the show see below:

Kissy Simmons - Kissy played Nala in The Lion King for nine years.

Matthew  Hydzik  - Matthew has appeared in Grease and West Side Story among other things. We saw him in a reading of a musical that is currently in development based on The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.

Scarlet Strallen - She played Mary Poppins in the musical of the same name both on Broadway and in the West End.

Craig Shulman - He is know for playing vocally demanding roles in such musicals as The Phantom of the Opera and Les Miserables.

Jennifer DiNoia- She has appeared as Elpaba in Wicked all over the world.

The performers sang songs from their roles and holiday songs as well. There was also a question and answer session where the audience could ask the performers questions.

All in all, it was a fun evening. We hope they do more Broadway events at iPlay America, and we look forward to attending them if they do.

And that's our view. Tune in tomorrow for this week's Sunday Scoop.
