I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Who: All ages
Me - Big Bus New York was fun.We got to ride on a double decker bus.  We went uptown and downtown. On the uptown loop, we sat downstairs. On the downtown loop, we sat upstairs. I liked sitting upstairs better. You could see better upstairs. Sitting upstairs is also better for taking pictures.  The only bad thing about sitting upstairs was that it was really cold. When we got on the bus they gave us earbuds so you hear the commentary no matter where you are sitting. The commentary was interesting. I learned a lot from it. Some of the things on the uptown tour were a leafy dinosaur in front of the Museum of Natural History and Central Park. Some of things we saw downtown were the Wall Street Bull and Freedom Tower. I had a lot of fun on the Big Bus Tour of New York City, and I would recommend it.

Mom - A fun way to do a lot of sightseeing in  a short amount of time and without having to do a lot of walking is to take a Big Bus New York tour. Big Bus New York offers  a Downtown Tour, and an Uptown Tour as well as a Brooklyn Tour and a Night Tour. There are a wide variety of ticket options too including one, two and three day passes. With a pass you can ride as many of their tours as you want within that time period. If  you think you will miss something riding around in a bus, you won't. You can get on and off the bus as many times as you want as long as it is within the time covered by the ticket option you choose. There are approximately 30 stops on the various bus routes for you to chose from and the buses run from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (except for the night tour which runs from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.) However, it is important to note that the bus does not start and end at every location at the same time so if you are interested in getting on or off the bus at a particular spot at a particular time you should check the schedule on the Big Bus New York web-site. Some ticket options include passes to attractions such as Madame Tussauds, One World Observatory, or the Empire State Building. If you take a Big Bus New York tour even if the weather is colder we would recommend sitting on the top especially if you are interested in taking pictures because you will get a better view. There is partial covering on the top of the bus in the colder weather, but it can still get cold up there though. However, it is still worth sitting on the top if you want a better experience. You will be able to hear the guide whether he or she is on the same level of the bus as you or not because you will be given a free headset when you board. For more information or to book a Big Bus New York Tour go to https://www.bigbustours.com/en/new-york/new-york-bus-tours/, For more information about Big Bus tours in other cities go to https://www.bigbustours.com/;

And that's our view. Tune in tomorrow for Theater Thursday.
