I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Tips for Tuesday - Movies: Bunyan and Babe

We were given a free preview of Bunyan and Babe for review purposes. Any and all opinions expressed here are our own.

Me- Today I am recommending Bunyan and Babe is about Paul Bunyan and Babe the giant talking blue ox. A boy name Travis fell through a tree and met them. He brings them back with him to his grandparents farm where a evil man is trying to buy up the town and turn it into a mall. I liked it a lot. The characters were likable except for the bad guy and his twin brother who was also a bad guy. They were both voiced by the same actor, Kelsey Grammer. My favorite character was Babe. He was pretty, and I like animals. Also, he was funny sometimes. The story was interesting. It moved along at a quick enough pace not to be boring but quick enough to not be boring.  The animation was awesome. You felt like you were there. It was a really good movie for all ages but especially children.

Mom  - Today I am also recommending Bunyan and Babe. Bunyan and Babe is a delightful movie for all ages. It has an entertaining story and  great characters. The animation is so lifelike you feel like you are in the movie right along with the characters. The attention to detail is great too. Every detail is just right from the biggest details like the way the characters look like to the smallest details like ticket stubs held in a characters hand or the ad painted on a truck.  The color shading is excellent too, such as in the fading look of a character's jeans or the way Babe's natural blue color is subtly different than the way he looks when he is painted blue the same blue color. Over all, the movie is just a great entertainment and an aesthetically beautiful film.

Bunyan & Babe, stars the voice talents of John Goodman, Kelsey Grammar, Jeff Foxworthy and YouTube star Johnny Orlando.  It will be available on Google Play starting on January 12 from Cinedigm.  An HD version of the animated film will be available exclusively to redeem for free through Google Play from January 12 to February 16, 2017Bunyan & Babe will also make its debut in theaters in twelve markets including New York and Los Angeles on February 3.
