I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Tips for Tuesday - Movies: Zootopia

Me - Today I am recommending Zooptopia. It was about a rabbit who wanted to become the first rabbit to join the police  They only wanted her to be a meter maid, and she wanted to solve crimes.  I liked this movie a lot.  I liked how all the characters were animals. They were a lot of really funny parts. I would recommend this movie for people of all ages who like funny animated animal movies.

Mom - Today I am also recommending Zootopia. Zootopia is the story of Judy a rabbit who wants to become a member of the Zootopia police force but the odds are against her because she is only a female and a rabbit. In, this day and age when so many movies are based on TV shows or comic books or are remakes, it is nice to see a movie that is completely original. This movie is mild enough to entertain younger children while at the same time it is funny and engaging enough to entertain older children and adults as well. I also like that this film has a really good message in that it shows that if you believe in yourself and work hard you can do or be anything you want.  This is an especially good message for girls who may think that they may not be able to do something they would like to be able to do just because they are girls or indeed it is a good message for anyone who thinks that he or she cannot do something for any similar reason.

And that's our view. Tune in tomorrow for Where-To-Go Wednesday.
