I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Where-To-Go Wednesday - Bernard Family Hall of North American Mammals

We received complimentary tickets to the American Museum of Natural History for review purposes. Any and all opinions expressed here are our own.

What: Bernard Family Hall of North American Mammals

Where: American Museum of Natural History
            200 Central Park W.
            New York, NY

Who: All ages

The Bernard Hall of North American Mammals features numerous animals that are found on this continent, particularly in the United States.  It showcases animals found in forests, deserts, icy peaks, and more. Each diorama depicts a particular place and time. The entire hall was lovingly restored and reopened in 2012.

Species here include rabbits, beavers, a variety of deer-like animals, numerous bears, and more. Signs throughout the exhibit provide information on the various animals in the hall. Information includes where the animals can be found, what they eat, and more. A special part of the exhibit is devoted to Ice Age animals.

And that's our view. For more about Hall of North American Animals, visit www.amnh.org/exhibitions/permanent/north-american-mammals. For more about the American Museum of Natural History in general or to purchase tickets, go to www.amnh.org.
